Weekend Happenings

Poor Riley had a rough day on Saturday this weekend...he woke up at 6AM with a pretty high fever and spent most of the day on the couch like this:
After some Motrin and lots of hugs, he started to feel better towards the end of day...but he spent a lot of the day sleeping. He even sat through the entire US World Cup soccer game...the "normal" Riley would never sit in one place that long so you know something was serious not right. On Sunday Riley was back to his normal energetic self...he did take a few minutes out of his busy day to read a book about colors to his baby brother.

Sully acted somewhat interested for a few seconds...but then quickly focused on me with my camera.

And then he ignored both of us to do his own thing and check out the fishies!

It was nice and toasty this weekend (okay, downright hot!)...so we took Riley to the fountains Sunday night. This is the the first time he actually went into the middle...usually he just hangs around the edge.

He had a blast and was soaking wet by the end...we grabbed some cheesecake to go from the Cheesecake Factory and headed home. It's good to have our energetic, talkative and crazy little Riley back!
