A few weeks ago the weather was nice and warm and Kings Island was doing their Howl-o-Fest...so we took the kids down to Cincy to check it out. The first ride were the race cars...both boys had a blast!
After the cars, Sully and I headed over to the merry-go-round and stopped to say hi to Snoopy on the way!
Cody took Riley on his first decent sized roller coaster...the Beastie! Riley loved it...he told Cody afterwards that he was "just a little scared".
After riding a few rides we headed over to the Halloween celebration...there were hay mazes, a dance party, and a tractor ride.
Riley wanted to shoot a basket to try to win a prize...he did pretty well although didn't win. So mommy stepped in and won a turtle for each boy -- Sully was a happy camper!
Riley challenged daddy to a water gun game...
Riley won and picked an angry bird!
After a couple of games, it was time for the main attraction...trick or treating with the dinosaurs! Kings Island has a new Dinosaurs Alive exhibit with over 100 animatronic dinos. Along the path, there were trick or treat stations...the boys were in heaven!
The dinos were pretty realistic...even I was a little scared when they roared!
And their movements were realistic too...check out Riley's face in this shot!
Once the dino stopped moving, Riley was brave enough to pet him.
