Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves, but Riley definitely likes the pool! We knew he liked the water, but we weren't quite sure if he would still like it when it was chilly (he definitely doesn't take after Mommy who only likes body temperature water or warmer!). Not sure what took us so long to get him in the pool...I guess we've been busy every single weekend this summer and just haven't had a chance to make it over to the Y. This is the first weekend since the beginning of May where we didn't have anything planned at all! So here it is...documentation of Riley's first swim!
Check out Riley kicking his feet and moving his arms...he even dunked his face by himself a few times and didn't cry at all!
He wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first... 
Daddy started splashing around...
And Riley joined in -- he even splashed Daddy pretty good in the face!
And Riley splashed himself in the face a lot too!
He liked to sit on the step and splash with his hands and feet...
Daddy thought it was pretty amazing how he could hold up Riley's head with just one hand and Riley's chubby little legs would act as flotation devices and hold up the rest of his body!

All in all, a fun day at the pool...many more to come this summer!

Katie that is so cute! Good work getting another great video of Riley! You guys are so cute and I can't wait to spend some time with Riley all by myself!
