18 Months!

I can't believe Riley is 18 months today -- time has flown by this past year and half! Here are some facts about Riley at 18 months:

1. He's the sweetest, cuddliest kid...he loves giving Mommy and Daddy tons of hugs throughout the day and even blows Mommy kisses when she drops him off at daycare.

2. He's a running, climbing, dancing, and jumping machine! He loves the park, the pool, and gymnastics class!

3. His favorite foods recently: pancakes, Frosted Flakes, bananas, biscuits and gravy, chicken nuggets, yogurt, and pizza.

4. He finally caught up on his communication skills...he knows about 15 signs and says a new word or two practically every day.

5. He loves helping Mommy and Daddy...he will throw things in the garbage can for us, push the button to close the garage door, pick up after himself (with help from us, of course), he helps us give the dogs treats when they come in from outside and wipes off his own high chair after he eats.

6. Favorite activities recently: loves to kick or throw the soccer ball to Jake, loves to be outside, loves to jump and play in puddles, loves bubbles.

Here are some of his recent 18 month photos. Riley is at such a fun age right now...still innocent and baby-like in a lot of ways but starting to become more and more grown up and independent every day. He's got such a cute little personality...always giggling and laughing!
