Life Skills

Lately we've been teaching Riley skills he can use for life...for example, personal hygiene. He loves to brush his teeth when we brush our teeth, we've taught him to brush his own hair (not that there's much to brush because we keep it short like Daddy's!), and he even enjoys wiping his face and high chair tray himself and throwing the napkin in the garbage can. Our new life skill we're teaching him -- how to do laundry! That's right, it's never too early to teach a kid that valuable lesson. He loves it! We hand him the clothes from the washer and he carries it over and puts it in the dryer. Then he takes the dirty clothes out of the basket and puts them in the washer. His favorite part of the whole process -- pushing the button to make the washer and dryer start! Check it out...
He's turning into quite the little helper!

He can always come here...I've got plenty of life skills for him to learn- making my bed, vacuuming, washing dishes and he can brush up his laundry skills!
