The Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom was the first Disney park we visited last week. But first things first...we had to fill up the bellies before a long day at the park. The kids were all about the pancakes (or as Riley says, can-cakes)!
Taking the tram from the parking lot...

We took the ferry boat over in the morning and saved the faster mode of transportation (the monorail) for the evening when we knew we would all be tired.

We saw the princess show in front of the castle right off the bat.

Sawyer being his goofy self!

Just like at Sea World, the carousel was a big hit.

After a few rides like It's a Small World and Peter Pan's Flight, it was snack time. Riley was digging the Oreos and managed to create an Oreo cream boogie on his nose :) When he was done licking out the middle, he would hand the chocolate cookie patties to someone and ask for another. We'll need to work on teaching Riley the importance of appreciating the deliciousness of the entire cookie, not just the middle!

We got a cute picture of Sarah and Jace in front of the castle...

Again, an uncooperative two year old!

On our way out, we managed to catch the parade and Riley got another glimpse at the big guy!

After a long day at the park, we hopped on the monorail to get back to the parking lot.

The Magic Kingdom was the most crowded park out of the three we went to last week. And since the favorite big kid ride, Space Mountain, was closed for refurbishment, we ended up only going to Magic Kingdom one out of the five days. More pictures of the other parks later on this week...
