Lion Country Safari

Our first day in West Palm, Grandy and GrandPaul took us to the Lion Country Safari...the kids loved it! We rented a big van to drive through the safari so we could all ride in the same vehicle -- the kids loved not being strapped in their car seats and got to see a ton of animals!
Here are some of the animals we got to see:

After the safari we grabbed some lunch and then headed to the amusement park side of the safari!

The highlight for everyone was feeding the giraffes -- they came right up to us and ate lettuce out of our hands!

Riley got a kick out of it...giggling and laughing the entire time as the long purple tongue reached out to grab the lettuce.

Look at those whiskers!

The giraffe was loving us because we had quite a bit of lettuce!

It was so neat to see the giraffe staring us right in the face!

After feeding the giraffes, we walked around to see some of the other animals...

After checking out all of the animals, Riley wanted to drive the remote control boats and squirt people...he got mommy pretty good!

The carousel was a big hit...Sully got to sit with GrandPaul.

Even Aunt Johnnie got in on the action!

Riley chose to ride on the giraffe!

Then it was off to the paddle boat...Johnnie and Cody did the hard work!

GrandPaul and Riley were good with chillin' on the back!

Then at the end, Riley wanted to try peddling too!

Sully has been a little scared of rides this year...but the last ride of the day he decided he wanted to ride with daddy!

We had an awesome day with Grandy, GrandPaul, Aunt Johnnie and the lions! More pictures from our West Palm trip later this week!
