First Swim Meet

Riley attended his first swim meet this weekend (the first of many, I'm sure!). It was the YMCA Nationals in Indianapolis -- the same pool that held Olympic Trials in 2000. Daddy kicked butt and got first in his age group (25 to 29) in eight events. He also got first across all age groups in two of those events -- the 100 and 200 butterfly. Riley spent a lot of time doing this at the meet:

But that gave Mommy the opportunity to take pictures of Daddy swimming...here's one of Daddy diving off the blocks in the 100 butterfly (Cody is the second from the bottom):

Riley will officially be old enough to start swim lessons at the Y in three months and six days -- he can't wait! He wants to swim as fast as Daddy when he grows up :)
