Nannie's Here!

Nannie flew up to Ohio for the arrival of Riley's new cousin...he hasn't made his grand entrance quite yet but is expected to sometime this week. So Riley got a few more days of being the "baby"...pretty soon he's going to be "old baby" and will take a backseat to the "new baby." Jace was nice enough to give Riley some pointers on how to deal with the transition since he went through the same thing last year with the arrival of Riley :) Here are some pictures from this weekend.

I love my Nannie!
Since it was chilly on Saturday, we had to stay inside so we took the boys to the mall playground...it was really crowded and Riley was perfectly content walking through the mall with his Nannie.

Later on that day, Jace and Riley had fun playing in Jace's igloo tent...check out Riley's hair -- a little static electricity going on!

You gotta have the secret password to get in the igloo!

This little piggy went to the market....

Jace was so cute helping us wash Riley in the bathtub...he's going to be a big help when his little brother comes along!

This was the best attempt at getting both of them to look at the camera at the same time.

Today was absolutely beautiful -- 50 degrees and sunny! So we took the boys to walk around the park. Nannie just loves her boys!

Riley was walking too slow for Jace!

Riley was all smiles holding Nannie's hand.

Jace and Riley holding hands...too cute!

Finally got a picture of them both looking at the camera...now if I could just get a couple of cute simultaneous smiles!

Again, an attempt at a cute cuz pic that didn't quite turn out due to short attention spans.
The snow was melting but not quite gone yet...it's not often when you can play in the snow with no hat or gloves!

Riley was entertained by Aunt Meghan and Jace having a snow ball fight.

We're not quite sure who started it, Aunt Meg or Jace!

Jace wasn't quite fast enough to avoid the wrath of Aunt Meghan and her snow!

When we got back to Dayton, it was still warm and light out so Cody and I took Riley to the park.

Riley was clapping when he beat daddy in tic-tac-toe!

Riley loved walking up the stairs to the slide like a big boy.

He's really too short to get his leg up there but that didn't stop him from trying...and he managed to make it on a couple of steps, then got tired and starting crawling up the rest.

He absolutely loved going down the slide on his own.

Zoom down the slide!
It was all smiles at the end of the day!

We got a taste of spring this weekend...unfortunately, it was a tease because it's supposed to get cold again this week. There's so much more to do when it's nice out...we're really looking forward to this summer!
