Kids Are Tops

We signed Riley up for a kids gymnastics class at Kids Are Tops which is a 40,000 square foot facility that has swim lessons, gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading. Gymnastics is a term used very loosely when you're talking about kids under the age of 5. It was more like a supervised playtime in a gymnastics room which was perfect for Riley. He had an absolute blast! He was a little shy at first clinging to Cody and I during the stretches and the first few stations. But eventually he warmed up and started running all over the room. His favorite station was the long trampoline he could jump and run across. I was really surprised at how much blanace he had, especially when other bigger kids were jumping with him.

We had him try out the balance beam...

And he loved climbing on all of the mats and wedges!

Riley and Daddy had a great time in the foam pit!

The hoops were a big hit with Riley too...

There was even a Little Tikes playhouse and slide in the corner...Riley was all about opening and closing the door!

And afterwards, we ate dinner and went to our second favorite ice cream place, Maggie Moo's (Graeter's is our first favorite!). Riley got a chance to practice his "spoon skills"...

So now we have a new Wednesday night routine...pick up Riley from daycare, take him to gymnastics class, dinner, ice cream, bedtime. Riley was so exhausted after class that he didn't even open his eyes when we got home and I took him out of the car, up to his room, took off his clothes, changed his diaper, and put his PJs on! Our tired little guy...that's the sign of a great evening!

That place looks amazing! And I love the look of sheer joy on his face the entire time. Just adorable!
