Today was a special day for our littlest guy...Sully was baptized! He wore the pretty "princess" dress Riley wore a couple of years ago. The priest started the ceremony and referred to Sullivan as our daughter and continued to refer to him as our little "girl" the rest of the time -- it was not really possible to stop the ceremony to correct the priest without being rude so we just went with it and snickered a bit everytime he referred to Sully as a "she". Our little girl is definitely pretty, isn't she?! Sully with his "fairy" godparents:
Aunt Meghan gave Sully some reading material to pass along to mommy -- gee, thanks!
Nannie made it for the ceremony too!

A family photo:

Sully loved Aunt Meghan's necklace.

Sully hanging with Uncle Justin before the ceremony.

Sully was a little unsure when I tipped him over the font...

But he was very cooperative, as usual...no crying or fussing at all!

One last photo with the parents and godparents on Sully's holy day!

Sully was an angel the entire time...no surprises there! And Riley was a little loud and obnoxious...no surprises there either! But we made it through the ceremony without any major mishaps (at one point it looked as though the airplane Riley was holding was going to crash land in the baptismal font)...overall, a good day!
