We started day one of our Disney World trip at the Magic Kingdom...guess who's the most excited about Disney this year (besides Mommy, of course)???
The timing worked out where the parade started right when we got there...Sully was pretty excited to see Chip and Dale!

Riley's favorite was the big guy himself...Mickey Mouse!

Both boys enjoyed the music and dancing!

Riley was pretty content to play with his new Mickey fire truck in the middle of the sidewalk.

Picture perfect moment in front of the castle.

Sully taking his afternoon nap....he had no issues catching some zzz's in his stroller.

Our condo had a really nice kids play area with a zero depth pool.

It was a little chilly first thing in the morning on day two...

So both kids eased themselves into the water....

Eventually the water wasn't so cold and the kids enjoyed playing with Daddy.

There was also a playground in the kids area which Riley and Sully had to check out.

Day 2 we were back at the Magic Kingdom...and as you can see, we didn't pick the best week to go -- it was super crowded since it was the week before Easter.

We quickly learned after day one that if Cody and I were going to preserve our backs by not carrying around 30 extra pounds all day, we would need to get a stroller for Riley. He liked having his own stroller! And the squirting fan I found at Target was a bonus since the temps were in the upper 80's/low 90's the whole week!

Both boys loved Buzz Lightyear's Ranger Spin!

Riley and Zurg!

Choo choo! We took the train around the park.

Riley's favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom was the Speedway race cars (reports from Daddy state that Riley needs A LOT of practice with his steering abilities before he's allowed anywhere near a real car!). Sully's favorite ride was It's A Small World. Day three we headed to Hollywood Studios...Riley loved the 3D muppet movie and actually kept his glasses on for once!

While Sully took his afternoon nap, Riley played in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area.

By request from his cousin, Sawyer, Riley and Sully got a picture with Mater!
Both boys liked the excitement of the fire and water during the backlot tour!

Riley's least favorite part of the day...we watched the Jedi training show and two storm troopers came out with guns a blaze followed closely by none other than Darth Vader! Riley freaked out a bit and practically jumped off of Cody's shoulders into his stroller and said, "We need to get away from here!" Later during the backlot tour he was at least willing to get a picture with the fake Darth Vader.

We tried to get a cute picture of Sully with Sulley from Monster's Inc...

But Sully was a bit scared...you can see the look of fear on his face!

Aunt Trish met us in the afternoon and the adults traded off and got to ride the Aerosmith roller coaster. Riley wanted to ride but has quite a few inches before he's tall enough....so he got to eat some ice cream instead! Trish was able to get a quick family photo in front of the Mickey hat before we left.

Day four was spent at the Animal Kingdom with Nannie, Aunt Johnnie and Aunt Trisha...first ride was the safari! We had some fellow Ohioans sitting behind us willing to snap a family photo for us.

Some of the animals were so close with no barriers in between -- it felt like a real safari!

Sully and Mommy on the safari!

Baby elephant!

Birds!

Rhinos!

No idea what this thing is called but it was close to our truck!

Riley spent a lot of time on Cody's shoulders...and Sully wanted in on the action so Cody was becoming a pro at carrying both kids!

The Lion King show was amazing -- Riley, Cody and Trish in front of one of the animal floats.

The dino dig was a big hit with both boys!

Riley came home with two shoes completely full of sand...I didn't realize how much until I took his shoes off that evening and could have filled a mini sandbox at the condo with all the sand he brought back!

Trish and Riley went on the dino ride together.

The dino dig area also had a dino playground that Riley loved! Lots of climbing structures and slides for him to expend some energy on!
Riley loved stomping on the dino tracks to make the dino roar!

Then it was back for some airplane flying in the dino dig area!

For dinner we met some friends at the Rainforest Cafe...while we were waiting, Riley and Sully enjoyed the bubbles from Riley's new bubble gun (thanks to Nannie!).

Riley with his buddies Artie and Nini!

And on our way to the airport the next morning, we saw some hot air balloons landing right by the side of the road!

It was an awesome trip -- the boys were easy going and flexible and we were able to do everything we wanted! We are definitely Disney'd out after four days there but am looking forward to going again when Sully is a little older!
