Disney!

We made it back safe and sound from Florida late last night. Here are the pictures from the rest of our trip:
Riley checking out Nannie's RayBans
Nannie and Riley on the dock at our favorite Jupiter restaurant, Jetty's, Sunday evening

The Jupiter Lighthouse is in the background

Where are all the fishies?

On Monday we headed for Orlando. We spent half of a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios....here's Riley and Daddy at the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground

Riley and Daddy going down the camera film slide

Weeeeeeeee!

Look at those blades of grass!

Nannie and Riley are Singin' in the Rain!

Time for a snack and a show -- the Indiana Jones stunt show! Riley liked when things blew up...typical boy!

Catastrophy Canyon

First the rain....

Then the fire, then the flood!

Riley was quick to jump to Nannie's lap on the other side of the car when the flood got too scary!

In front of the Miss Piggy fountain after the Muppet 3D show

Riley and Daddy in front of the Mickey hat on our way out...we rode the Great Movie Ride in addition to the things mentioned above. Later that night Cody and I ran back to the park before it closed to check out the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster and the Fantasmic Lightshow!

Nannie spoiling Riley with some ice cream after dinner that evening!

On Tuesday we headed to the Magic Kingdom for the day...we took the ferry to the park.

The whole gang in front of Cinderella's Castle

Ah, how cute!

The people on the Main Street trolley hopped off and broke into a song and dance right when we got there...Riley was very interested in what was going on.

The very first ride -- Dumbo! It always has the longest line in the park....30 minutes long on this day. Lucky for us we had Nannie there to keep Riley busy walking around the park while Mommy and Daddy stood in line and then handed him over the fence when it was almost time to ride. It worked out quite perfectly!

Then it was off to It's a Small World...Riley loved it!

Why are all of this kids singing, Mommy?!

Then it was off to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

It got a little scary in the forest...although Riley looks terrified, he never cried once on any of the rides.

Did Riley have a few before we went on Peter Pan?

He liked the Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Before lunch Riley was checking out the ducks on the lawn

While we waited, Cody was keeping Riley busy and ended up getting him a scoop of ice cream because "Riley led me in the ice cream shop and really wanted some" -- right before lunch, let me remind you. Although Cody ordered the cheapest thing on the menu, a single scoop, the girls at the counter gave him the Mickey Special for the single scoop price because "Riley was so cute..." I'm thinking it was more because Cody was so cute :)

After lunch it was nap time which gave Mommy and Daddy a chance to ride the "big kid rides" with Mommy's long time friend, Scott, who is an Orlando reporter for Channel 13. We rode Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain...basically, all of the rides with height restrictions that would probably scare Riley anyway.
After two and a half hours, Riley was refreshed and ready to go again...he loved Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean

Scott and Riley waiting for Aladdin's carpets to land and pick us up!

A Whole New World for Riley...

How do I get this thing off?

Whoa, we're starting to move!

Up, up and away! Hold me, Daddy!!!

We checked out Mickey's PhilharMagic 3D show...Riley got a little antsy so we had to pull out the binky.

Hey, guys...let's go check out the Mad Hatter Tea Party!

You can't do Disney without doing the teacups so that's just what we did!

Riley was ready to get turnin'....

He wanted to help Daddy turn the wheel...

Riley and Daddy being silly!

Too cute!

Other rides we went on not mentioned above...Winnie the Pooh, the Haunted Mansion, the train. And we had to get some last minute shots in front of the castle before we left for the day...

We flew back to Dayton the next day...Riley was all about pulling his backpack around the airport so he could be like all of the other travelers.

He was pretty darn adorable walking around like a little man toting that carry on. He was pretty good on the airplane both ways...we spent the extra money and bought him his own seat and put him in his carseat. That helped a lot because he couldn't squirm around and try to get down...he knew he needed to stay in his seat once he was strapped in. There were a few bouts of whininess but for the most part, he was very good. It was an awesome week in West Palm and Orlando...it's looking like the big meet will be in Ft Lauderdale again next year -- yea!!!! We like having excuses to go on vacation during random times of the year!
