Sand, Animals, and a Cuz

Nannie and I took Riley to a wildlife sanctuary yesterday -- he was mesmerized by the birds who were flapping around and talking to each other. Very rarely does Riley stand in one place for more than a few seconds but they kept his attention for at least 5 minutes! He also liked the snakes...ewwww! Typical boy :) We also saw some panthers, owls, otters, turkeys, vultures, bald eagle, hawk, and bobcats.

Yesterday evening we went to the beach for a cookout...

Riley was entertained by the waves crashing against the sea wall.

And the sand was fun to play with.

Here's Riley, Grandy and Nannie.

And Riley, Pappy, and GrandPaul.

Today we took Riley to see his cousin, Kenzey, at her school.

She was all about the kisses...Riley didn't quite know what to think about all of that attention.

Kenzey and Riley hangin' out!

The cousins swingin'.

This afternoon Nannie, Aunt Trisha and Mommy took Riley to a turtle sanctuary...Riley loved it! It was neat to see the turtles up close and personal!
Riley and his Nannie checking out Eartha the sea turtle.

Riley got to ride on his very own sea turtle.

Riley and Nannie checking out the big guy, Winkie!

We took Riley out for pizza after the turtles...Aunt Trisha and Riley were checking out the candy machines to see if anyone had left a stray :)

And to end the day, Nannie took Riley in the spool...he had a great time splashing around before bedtime.
Lots more fun in store for our lil' Riley over the next few days. Tomorrow we're going to see Daddy swim in his big meet in Ft Lauderdale so check back soon!
