We're back from vacation and I've got lots of pictures to share! Too many for one post so I'll spread them out through this week. We went to Tybee Island off the coast of Savannah Georgia for a whole week with my four sisters, their significant others and kids, and my mom. We had an awesome time!!! We all stayed in a four bedroom townhome within walking distance of the beach and downtown Tybee. The first morning Riley woke up at his usual time (around 6:15 or so) and everyone else was fast asleep. So Cody and I took Riley down for a first glimpse at the beach. Riley was only 6 months when we went to St. Augustine last year so he doesn't remember the sand and surf. He was a little apprehensive at first but ended up loving it! Here's a view of the pier from the beach we hung around most of the week...
Riley kept pointing at the water so Cody took him down to get his feet wet.
Like I said earlier, he was a little apprehensive at first because of the waves.
But it didn't take long for him to get comfortable...the water was nice and warm.
As you can see, it was a little early...we all have our sleepy faces on.
Later on that morning when everyone woke up, we all went to the beach decked out in our swim suits so we could actually get more than just our feet wet.
Riley followed Jace around most of the week!
The kids were content to just run up and down the beach which was fine with us because it tuckered them out!
