Disney On Ice!

As part of Riley's Valentine's Day gift from Aunt Sarah, he got tickets to Disney On Ice which came to Columbus this weekend. I wasn't quite sure how Riley would do at something like this. He can usually only sit still for 30 minutes or so to watch an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Curious George. When he does watch a feature length movie, it's typically in our basement and he'll watch 10-15 minutes, play for a while, come back and watch 10-15 minutes, go play some more. Needless to say, his attention span is still fairly short. So I was a little worried he wasn't going to be able to sit through 90 minutes of Disney on Ice. Surprisingly, Riley did great! He sat on my lap the entire time mesmerized by the skaters. As you can see, we couldn't even convince him to look away from the ice for a few seconds for a picture!

Riley spent a majority of the show pointing and asking "What's that?" Also, when Syndrome kidnapped Mickey and Minnie, he asked "Minnie go?" about a million times.


The Incredibles were the stars of the show and saved Mickey and Minnie from the bad guy.

But in Riley's eyes, there was only one star in the show -- his beloved Mickey Mouse!
Definitely Riley's favorite Valentine's Day present ever -- thanks, Aunt Sarah!!!
