Riley's 1st birthday party was a hit...great food (thanks Papa John's!), great friends, good times! We had a puppy theme this year as evidenced by the cake: 
Riley got lots of great gifts...a climber, a tent and tunnel, a kitchen, lots of cool books, a radio flyer ride on, a sit and spin, cute clothes, stuffed animals, a Little People car garage, a lawn mower, and an arts and crafts table. Is this kid spoiled or what?! He's just too cute and sweet...it's hard to resist! Just like Christmas, Riley was all about eating the wrapping paper. Luckily cousin Jace was nice enough to help us open presents so things moved along quickly.
He wasn't quite sure what to do when everyone sang to him...
Jace was helping the big boys get their drinks...and yes, this was Riley's first kegger. Not Jace's, though! Jace's first kegger was his 1st birthday a couple of years ago...it's an ongoing family tradition :)
Riley's thinking to himself, "Hey, guys...where's the cake?!"
Cody gave Riley a huge piece of cake as a joke thinking there's no way Riley will eat it all...but sure enough, he did!
Riley loved the cake...he seemed like he wanted more because he was grabbing crumbs as we were trying to clean him off...takes after Daddy with his appetite and Mommy with the sweet tooth!
