Seven Days Later....

Wow, what a difference seven days makes during the life of a 12 month old! Last Monday was Riley's first birthday...he was walking by that point but only from an already standing position. He would pull himself up on a piece of furniture (or a leg) and take off from there. He still preferred to crawl at that point because it was easier and faster for him. During the week he learned how to push himself up from a sitting position and now he's to the point where he can get up and walk whenever he wants and actually prefers it. I finally got some video footage but the quality isn't that great because it was taken with my still camera...but you get the idea of how mobile he is now:

Now how can I keep him from figuring out what running is? Yeah, right!
